thoughts on rumors

Most of us, when faced with rumor (especially negative ones) respond through this overused statement. Ironically enough, this phrase does not offer much statement at all. As rumors themselves are shrouded with uncertainty, an uncertain answer such as this could be the worst way to respond to a rumor. In fact, it could only trigger people to hypothesize all the more: is the person concerned saying this because s/he is afraid to confront the rumor, or is it simply a nonchalant attitude that creates the idea of being unaffected due to its false nature?
Whichever way you choose to see it, rumors will continue to exist – at school, in the workplace, at home, within the streets, basically just about anywhere people live and exist. A quote I read implies the idea that gossiping and creating rumors are the lowest form of conversation one person can engage in. And hence, it is often considered taking the high road when you choose not to respond.
On the other end of the spectrum, choosing not to respond to rumors would only encourage the rumor to thrive. Without the opportunity to retort, one can never clear the clouds of confusion and so, most people would accept the rumor as fact.

bitaw no daghan man mabuhat pod diay nag rumors. ang uban nga mga tao pod bitaw mag pataka lng og storya bisan makadaot pod sa ilang silingan. naa man gani mi silingan sa una gihold-ap pero rumors lng man diay to. naa pod mi mga kaila naanod daw silag baha pero rumors lng diay. aksyon man pod mig kabalaka. unsa kaha ang angay nga buhaton ana no? pero kung boot huna-hunaon dili mn gyud ta dapat mabalaka labina kung ensured ka. kay kadtong mg anadisgrasya nga dili ensured nag lisod man og patambal sa hospital. naa man pod koy kaila sige man to siya og storya og rumors pero nadato baya siya, nanigkamot ra siya unya nag sige og ka promote. kadto pod akong maestro sa una na wala ang iyang kwarta tungod sa rumors. naka daog daw siya og luto ingon sa iyang kaila unya gigasto niya ang iyang tanang kwarta pero wala diay siya kadaog. mao ng dili nalng gyud ta motoo dayun no? pero ok man pod nang motoo basta mag bantay lng gyud ta. kadto gani akong kaila nag bantay man to siyag manikan sa amoa pero kusog pod mag strorya og rumors.
kanang business pod diay kinahanglan man og rumors, kay daghan man pod ang nisikat ana. si crisy permin, boy abunda og kinsa pa gani to. kanang naa gani sa showbiz dba bisness man pod na no? pero ok ra man gyud kung imong huna-hunaon pag-ayo basta kanang peaceful lng gud atong life. sige kay mulakaw sa ko babay.

Gossips make the world go round with different levels of stupidities. Those who can’t stand it are victims but those who choose to continue living an insightful life with it are SURVIVORS.
That’s why; we need to outwit, outplay and outlast gossips.
